This series of 2 documentaries were produced for Radio New Zealand in 2010 – to look back at the impressive career of award winning Kiwi broadcaster Zane Lowe.

Millions tune into his evening show on Radio One - and he's well known for presenting on MTV - as well as his BBC Glastonbury coverage. In this clip, fellow New Zealander Andrew Dubber talks to Lowe about his early musical influences... In 2015 Lowe left his position as evening DJ at BBC Radio One – to take up a presenting role at Apple’s “Beats 1″ radio station. 

The documentaries are presented by New Zealand broadcaster – and Professor of Music Industry Innovation at Birmingham City University – Andrew Dubber.
